Your luggage should ideally weigh no more than 12 kg, due to the many transhipments and portages involved. We recommend a classic travel bag or a medium-sized suitcase (practical to carry on your head, in fact) rather than a backpack that's hard to find anything inside. On the whole, don't overfill your bag, as it's often a pain to try to put back something you've already had a hard time putting away when you were happily packing your bag ....
We have a collective first-aid kit on board, but we ask you to bring a small individual first-aid kit.
Whatever the sensitivity of your skin, make sure you use a suitable sun cream and an anti-mosquito cream.
Take a pair of closed-toe shoes and sandals, flip-flops or equivalent. Walking shoes are not necessary.
A hat or cap that fits over your head.
A small headlamp
Pants, several pairs of shorts, several T-shirts or shirts, a raincoat or windbreaker, a sweatshirt or light fleece, a small towel, one or more loincloths.
For people with sensitive sleeping habits, bring a small pillow.
During the months of July and August (austral winter), the sheet we supply may not be enough for those who are chilly.
Bring a light sleeping bag if you feel concerned.
If you're coming with your children, don't bring along any "eye-rolling games". There's no need to worry about boredom on this kind of trip, and you'll need to have your whole mind ready to listen to all the music we're about to experience together.
